Yakima Occupational Medicine defines primary injury care as treating non-emergency injuries that are sustained at work. Such injuries include: lacerations, sprains, closed fractures, as well as back and eye injuries. We also provide medical surveillance for exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.

Our clinic also manages occupational diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis and degenerative disc disease.

We are able to:

  • Treatment for all work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Assess and triage the injury
  • LNI Claim and Case Management
  • Walk-in injury and work-related illnesses as well as Emergency Room follow-up care
  • Question the patient to learn how the injury occurred, the medical history of the individual and other important information.
  • Counsel the patient on next steps and what to expect, in accordance with our treatment philosophy that encourages continued activity, modified duty and early return-to-work.
  • Direct the patient to return to work.

Yakima Occupational Medicine‘s focus on quality medicine and rapid treatment progression has proven to be highly effective in restoring health of the injured while reducing overall costs for employers.
